I had my stroke following immediately after heart surgery, leaving my not knowing even my own name for a couple of weeks and with significant damage on the ;left side of my brain, especially with affecting speech/listening. I was very lucky to find Heidi, using via Skype being from living outside the UK, to be such an expert SLT, she was able to assess my difficulties and set out a rehabilitation plan, with personal goals. She has skilfully kindly guided along the journey and she has also made me aware of huge understanding /management about own dysphasia.
